The Wooly is lucky to have Merritt O’Brien (The Top) who creates delicious and interesting menus for any occasion.  All food is prepared on site by The Wooly culinary team using the freshest ingredients which are carefully and locally sourced by Merritt whenever possible.

The bar at The Wooly was custom built using salvaged ceiling tiles from the last century.  A complete bar can complement your event.  A signature cocktail, craft beer or select wine can be appropriated and served for your guests with advance notice.  Our trained bartenders and servers are efficient and provide unmatched service.


How big is The Wooly?

The Wooly is 4400 square feet of versatile event space.

Is there equipment available to rent for my event?

The Wooly has 200 chairs, twenty 60” round tables and ten 8’ rectangular tables. There is also a custom stage and a ping pong table available for rent.

Who can cater my event?

The Wooly provides in-house catering by Merritt O’Brien from the Top or a licensed caterer may use our service kitchen for a small fee.

How many people can The Wooly accommodate?

The Wooly can serve up to 250 seated and can hold up to 700 for a concert or performance.

Is there a bar?

The Wooly has a fully stocked bar and bartenders that can tailor the bar to your price point and event theme.

Where do people park?

Downtown Gainesville has plenty of parking depending on the time of your event. Your event coordinator can give you a list of parking spots or connect you with a valet to assist with your party.

Can I decorate The Wooly for my event?

The Wooly is open to decorations as long as they are coordinated on paper with our event director.
